Tomco Insurance Corp. was established in 1977 by Tommie Tarsell, and is a certified MBE/WBE. From the start, Tomco Insurance has provided coverage for thousands of individuals and companies. Tommie Tarsell, is a Certified Insurance Counselor and has been an insurance professional since 1968. She was the first woman to open her own insurance agency in the state of Maryland. Ms. Tarsell is recognized throughout the country as an advocate for women in business. Some of her accomplishments include:
